No, I disagree. If Tesla move away from get away without REE (or significantly reduce), not everyone will move away from REE's. Moving away market demand from REE's will therefore lower the price of REE's, making the price more competitive, and therefore more affordable. Tesla just know that no-one else will be bold enough to be the first to move, and don't want to be seen as a follower, so it's Tesla's strategic move to move away from REE's as they will maintain their perceived leadership in the industry to customers. Part of Tesla's marketing is that if you but Tesla, you're on the forefront of technology. They can't be seen as a follower in the diversification away from REEs. But who knows, we could both be right or both be totally wrong, I guess we'll see.
