very strong interest could also mean very strong fishing for the lowest price. how would they know. there are number of plants being built now and customers go around and hunt for the best bargain.
it will come down to is ASM competitive. I don't follow them closely enough to have an answer to that.
I can still see a debate about rare earths in EVs. If Telsa can get away without them and bring cost down as a result - everyone single one will do it. every single one.
Demand for rare earths from other industries has to be strong enough to support higher prices.
@Lee86 Albo just doubled our national debt by buying 3 subs (for the price of 10 intergalactic spaceships). How much more debt do you think we can handle. Also, EU and UK are in same debt problems. So no, not much will be done in regards to that. Yes, US will force few more countries to buy their overpriced planes or subs but that's about that.
At the end they will make a deal and back to business. And if we miscalculate and really end up in WW3 then the nukes will make sure REE and any other business opportunities are worth nothing. It will be all over in few minutes. Only the super wealthy will survive in their deep bunkers.. for while. Then their security will take them out to help themselves with the goods.
