If you're young, it's very important to note that Australia was being written off as an old world Asian basket case 10 years ago and that the mining sector was bogging the economy down. The RIOs and BHPs all may collapse at some stage within the next 10 - 20 years.

In my mind, technology will ineviteably play a very large part looking forward yet we have no idia atm what this may encompass.
Our keyboards will vanish very quickly IMO and the true robotic age will commence that may out perform Microsoft by many multiples.
Medium term tends to imply a timeframe of 2 - 5 years, but not for HC daytraders. LOL
