After a lot of soul searching, I have decided not to take up my allocation - or indeed request more. I rang the TSI hotline and confirmed that the only difference in buying shares now for 67 cents and the 70 cents offer was any brokerage fee you would incur. So it makes no sense to take up the offer.
So I will just sit on the shares I bought for 90 cents and see what happens. Fortunately I sold a third of them for 97 cents a month ago without any idea of this situation.
