I too would hope the the board would not support a $10 offer. I dont post here chasing green ticks. But the current thread is about a rumour that someone has supposedly approached the company with an offer. What I am saying in now and here time, that $10 would be about the best we would be offered. Todays takeover rumour would be at the value of the company today, not next year.

I know we all like to dream, but imo Karoon will never be worth $40 like you have predicted in the past. It will be taken over well before that, esp if things are looking on the up side in Brazil.

Something we should remember that the best way out for Bob is via take over. If he decides he wants to follow his passion and go snow ski-ing and surfing, $120,000,000 might be just what the doctor ordered. At $10 Talbot is up 2 1/2 times his original investment as well, so he to could jump at the opportunity.

These are things that could happen, but like you I would be very dissapointed if it did go that way.

Please dont take this as some sort of bragging or claiming to know more than others, but I have a resonable holding, well in top 100, and have held since 05. I would be mortified if they let the company go now.
