Guess he or she couldn’t substantiate their claim on scoping study inferring a current value of in excess of $1. It’s funny that some people think a scoping study is a current valuation document.
Perhaps the market hasn’t read the great valuation tool, a scoping study, lol, markets only currently valuing us at $0.435. Perhaps the company should send the scoping study out to all the broking houses with a request for them to read it, lol.
Let’s hope as the company continues to de-risk the project that we can start to see share price firming, or of course another offer from somebody may also help. Likely still a takeover expectation premium built into our SP as traders hope for a further offer in the short term. Though of course there is also downside risk, among other things the tightening capital markets and interest rates as the company tries to achieve funding.
Feasibility study should give a higher degree of confidence in the numbers than the scoping study and of course achieving funding will be a critical task, all those scoping study numbers don’t mean much if we can’t achieve funding.
So barring other offers I guess it’s back to the grind as the company works through the processes to achieve funding. Guess we just have to put up with the complaining from those that think the market has got it wrong and that it should be using the scoping study as a valuation. I think they will be complaining in vain, I don’t think the market is going to shift to their scoping study valuation method any time soon, lol
All the best everyone.
