wouldn't one think that if one wished to keep ones Universities 'profitable' ---------- that there'd be only one reason to do that -

to fund research and to put one's own citizens into tertiary education so one could grow one's own skilled and educated population


somehow - something has gone badly wrong - because research has been gutted, Aussies don't get well educated now, merely job trained - which means that foreign owned companies get some staff - so they can make money - then pay no tax to Australia and shift their profits immediately to the northern hemisphere
