My initial observations of electricity prices post Liddell shut down where about 1000MW has been removed from the grid tells me there is at least $100/MWH added to overnight electricity prices.
It may be early days, and heavily weather dependent, but if this continues i would expect to see AGL's long swap position get back into the money assuming they have not sold the swaps back - this was part of the reason why they missed their original profit forecast for FY23.
