I have politely asked our Minister for the Environment if he is able to comment on the protracted bureaucratic process around approvals for a certain mining junior's silica sand venture, and why it appears to outsiders that EPA questions are being asked in series, rather than as a once-off definitive punch list of things left to do to get to a state where a decision whether to approve or not can be made one way or another.

I also may have highlighted the environmentally friendly was that company plans to deal with extant vegetation on site, and how such a venture that is also exploring the possibility of glass manufacturing here in WA should be just the sort of technology investment his Government should be championing.

I'm not holding my breath, but I figure it's better than wasting my time trying to get anything substantive out of Cinnabon and his clown circus.
