This is certainly the spec end of the market @sharebroker1. and not for the faint hearted. there is absolutely a strong thematic here at play with Rare Earths but it does require a lot of research to understand the nuances between companies as well as where the broader market is at. In terms of your timing, whilst its unfortunate, may I suggest treat it as a learning exercise so you dont make the same mistake twice, or at least become better educated as to timing. Do you have an investment strategy and do you follow it? I, like many other investors have lost a lot over the decades but those losses made me a more disciplined, cynical and ultimately a better investor(im not a trader).
That sharp movement in price to me had strong whiffs of a cap raise( i did mention this on this forum I think) and trader involvement. Hope that helps some.
