@edski1 my apologies, typo. It was US $10 million (18 millions shares). The Center now owns 7% of MSB shares and the founding member personally 6.6% by the looks of reports.

...and yes, I agree your wider pessimism, it was all I could do not to short the US, when Powell first said "transitory" in April 2021, holding off until November [still too early] but I am long again now, only in small cap companies like PAR, that really are call options, that I feel, probabilities of success, grossly under reflected in their share values. There will be a long shallow recession globally as inflation becomes entrenched at 3-5% and Central Banks unable to raise rates (they left emergency rates in place for 12 months too long and stocked demand [via massive monetary expansion] into supply constrained economies).

That aside, small caps like PAR that I own, will hopefully achieve individual success that will buck the wider general CAPM style market trends that dictate their recent share prices, with individual successes. Pre-positive cash flow small cap's always get battered generally in stock market / liquidity led downturns alas....
