Hawkstone Mining Limited (HWK, formerly ZYL Limited) is a ASX listed company that holds a diversified US asset portfolio, across Gold, Copper and Lithium. The Company's three gold projects in Nevada, Idaho and Utah are situated in highly mineralised districts adjacent to large scale producers or existing substantial gold resources.

Corporate Overview

The Company was incorporated in WA on 01/05/1969 as Magnet Metals Ltd, an explorer. The Company listed on ASX on 01/12/1980. Early 1985 - The Company was reconstructed into Magnet Group Ltd, an investor controlling substantial shareholdings in three other companies engaged in resource exploration: Lennard Oil NL - onshore oil producer/explorer; Stirling Petroleum NL (ASX Code: SGR - now Stirling Resources NL) - offshore petroleum; and Monarch Resources NL (ASX Code: MON) - gas. Late 1985 - The Company came under the control of Black Hill Minerals Ltd (ASX Code BLM). June 1988 - The Company changed it's balance date to December to coincide with that of its new holding company. July 1996 - Capital Reconstruction: every 15 $0.10 ord. shares into one new share of $1.50 par value and then wrote off $1.40 per share. Options reduced in the same ratio, i.e. 1 for 15 and the exercise price of the options was increased to $3 each. July 1996 - The Company changed it's name to Zylotech Limited and it's industry classification to 225 - High Technology.
