You got your facts wrong.

Firstly, Yanukoyvch was democratically elected. He was overthrown in a coup.

After he was overthrown, Poroshenko was elected. He was the one who signed the Minsk Accords (Peace deal) which he never implemented.

Your Zelenskyy was elected in 2019, beating Poroshenko, on a platform of seeking peace with Donbas and Russia. But once elected, he reneged on his election platform and the mandate he received from his people. He did not implement the Minsk Accords. Instead, he cut off their water supplies. And he issued a Presidential Decree to take back Crimea.
