I re-read all my posts and put thought into them, cheers. i bought my first shares at 16.5c and follow the company. it makes all the sense in the world. the holders who were around when the deal was made should be rewarded. setting a future dividend date will. a good chance thats the reason this didnt jump as high as some expected because investors now know 10c per share is leaving the company with no guarantee of coming back in. a future dividend will set this up as a yo yo set to crash the day the dividend date passes. a previous date would make a far more stable shareprice.
either way I'd have preferred them to keep the cash and go hunting with it
