Ah yes you are projecting things differently then. I measure the total movement of wave 1, and then this is projected by starting at the base of wave 3, i.e. the end of wave 2, and the total movement of wave 3 is 1.618 / 2.618 of wave 1 from base to top, not just 161.8% higher than the top of wave 1.
Perhaps this diagram clears it up? Not to say what you do is "incorrect" of course, as clearly it works for you, but that is the way typical EW theory charts the targets. Still results in similar targets though but perhaps might dial things in a bit better
