Another possibility other than a SFR purchase or a JV with the new owner is that if someone big takes out Khoemacau , they might be tempted to lob a takeover/merger for Sandfire so they can get Motheo as well.
Would be an expensive play so probably not too likely, but I could see it happening given the appetite for copper assets at the moment.
