as of 1st May...all the gear has been shifted from LKR-2
and made its way to NED-1. Not sure if it has spud yet, but should be any day now. Not sure if MIN will announce.
NED-1 is the best location on the structure. Prospective for oil in the Wagina-Dongara and Gas in the Kingia.
After NED-1 is done, the rig goes to STX for what originally was meant to be 2 holes. If you read the STX anns, it says they have scored an extra rig slot - they now will drill 3 holes. So I guess LKR3 will not be drilled. MIN is saving one rig slot presumably to be drilled after they have had a chance to look at the 3D seismic and results of NED-1.
Lockyer field is not done yet. Would have been better all around if NED-1 was drilled first.
