As a Third Nations person --( That is what I think I will be classed as! , as I was born in Australia, and Both My parents were also born in Australia, - However a Grandparent was Born overseas..
I am assuming my children and their children will be classed as Third Nations people.
The Immigrants currently on Temporary Visas, that are to receive Australian Citizenship later this Year ( as Per labors announcement this week) - will they be Fifth Nation persons? (I think Fourth Nations people possibly should be here for at least a second Generation).
what I am wondering about -- , is that one of my grandchildren is in a relationship with a First Nation person, if they marry or partner-up will they "share the status of First Nation persons as well as their children?' " and if in the future they happen to divorce will the status of First Nations persons have to be relinquished?
Hopefully someone can explain it - in simple easy to understand terms??
