Your confusing express image in the Biblical context with image or image alone = two different things. Express image of a person, is their inner and not the thing, or person itself (house).
The entire subject in the verse you quoted (Heb 1:3, express image) is word, words related, even verses 1 & 2 are word related. (For as the Father has life in himself (his word) so has he given to the Son (words) to have life in himself John 5:26, then Jesus with these words says, they are Spirit and life John 6:63)
As for the image aspect, all we know there is, we have a spirit which God is, and John 1:1 says he is Word = Word/God, so an image of that for us would be Word/Human. He is also Alpha Omega -> A to Z so logic would suggest we a also likewise = letters for the word we are and words we express = our spirit. 1st Adam = image of God, 2nd Adam likewise.
Jesus Became the express image, he didn't begin that way, God raised him in the word etc, etc.
Looks like you might be running away from the original point, with all this, it's on the previous page, so I can't relook atm?
