If someone supports the challenges made against the explicitly documented Covenant, then it is not unreasonable to say "sorry, that's not what is written in the Will"
If after repeated admonitions, people continue to persist in challenging the leadership, then that results in ostracising.
It happens in every single organised body. It's not unreasonable, and it most certainly is not violent.
