Hi werdnak,
I am thinking along the same lines as you on whether to participate in the CR, so I have been looking into the relationship between proteinuria (specifically MCP-1) and eGFR.
There appears to be a relationship (inverse) between MCP-1 and eGFR (in that MCP-1 reduction correlates to an increase in filtration rate....eGFR) or so it seems to me. Note :- the below is regarding DKD not FSGS, but was one of the best I could find (found lots on COVID and African American population impact and again "looked" to have a correlation)
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1877593409000551
So with our reduction in MCP-1 (39% Phase 2), I am leaning towards the possibility of an increase in filtration rate (eGFR) from our upcoming trails (or maybe im just trying to convince myself...)
All of this is outside my wheelhouse, so would appreciate anyone correcting me or point me in the right direction.
Cheers,
