literally white people are the cause of their problems. we gave them grog, stopped them living the culture, tried to train them to be docile through religion, gave them crap food and more grog and tobacco, made it extremely hard to break the cycle by bias against employing them which lasted for over 200 years.

we established the pattern of behaviour that these remnant communities continue along with all the health, educational and social ills that accompanies the lifestyle.

of course they'll expect everything for free while they're drunk.
