that's what happens when unions and bureaucrats dominate.....tends to happen under Left wing governments moreso, but was getting entrenched in NSW somewhat more recently
those of you railing about " Robodebt " it was not really a new concept... had been going on for decades as had a sister stressing about paying off a family allowance debt, plus interest some 20 odd years ago because they were farmers and had a better year than budgeted.....though the letters were reviewed moreso beforehand before they went out I think, rather than " automated"
