This pre announcement is extremely good news and will be supportive of LYC share prices.
It obviously will give us an amazing 2nd half of the year, as we will have 2 facilities running and producing simultaneously.
i am NOT AT ALL convinced that close to the end of this new six month extension, there will be further discussions to keep the LAMP operating long after January 1, 2024.
I well noted the timing for the Permanent Disposal Facility to January 1, 2024 to be fully operational, of particular interest. C&L, as well as disposal, creates a completely new landscape in which (IMO), Lynas will be able to continue to operate for years to come in Malaysia.
The 5.3% move in New York trading on Friday was very telling. Someone knew something. Maybe State Street will take the bullish side of the trade this time. As i said before, this news is worth a $1.00+, given the last few days of up volume.
