More truthfully, the world will stop if governments continue down this renewables path. With power prices escalating here, this country will lose its aluminium industry. Power costs alone will be prohibitive let alone the risk to pot lines from the threat of power outages. The cost of backup power to deal with these inevitable outages will be a deal breaker.
