So do I declare the end of this comp, and start a new one with 60 cents being the Target.

RevelsCat made a suggestion, that we start a comp, but only going for a month, with your target price.
Instead of a common price target how about a common date, but you put what will be the SP by a certain date?
Sounds a bit easier, well maybe..and we can continue on with a bit of fun.
