The $55m cap raise in October 2020 was proposed to fund the VP-001 program through to market, IND-enabling studies for two more eye programs and development of the first CNS asset (see below).
The company has been so shockingly off-target in meeting those objectives with the funds raised, especially with the lead program which is yet to commence dosing, that I think an explanation is warranted.
