Totally agree.
I have been a regular tasker for a number of years and infrequent booker of tasker services - the fees are ridiculous, and do not warrant value for money. The excessive fees are the key reason both parties make arrangements outside of the APP to work 'without fees' at different stages. I understand and support the reasons for services fees (insurance liability, booking coverage, shady trades and bookers etc. but they cannot be so high that it influences behaviours to make arrangements to bypass the app in future. I see this as the number 1 issue as why this product won't take off beyond what it already provides.

Sure, expanded internationally and keep your high salaries (good people should be rewarded), yet if you don't amend a glaring issue the same problem will arise, people will use the app to create connections, and then work around/outside it - I have been offered many new tasks by word of mouth after using the app once or twice. Often when i request people to 'book' through the app, the work does not proceed.

Simply - you want more business through the app, then lower the fees on both sides and make the app a safe and enticing environment for repeat business. note: a snappy new logo and marketing campaigns won't change the fact that majority of people will see a clear rip off.
