Results and Ex div comes in a few weeks, just some yeild chasing and short covering just in case atm.
Remember Telstra have been downgraded by investment firms but all the target prices are still above where we are.
And these downgrades are all assuming worst case scenarios.
We will get a test of 3.20 as a minimum but the gap between 3.30 and 3.40 will have to be passed to be called an uptrend.
My advice is don't short a stock with $6 billion in free cashflow! At these levels downside risk is very limited but one positive announcment could catapult this stock up 10-15% instantly which is a shorters nightmare.

Lol, anyone holding shorts in anything just before the announcement of the 750billion euro rescue package will know what i mean, GAPS KILL! OUCH!
