Great post Fitnman, and some very good point made. I agree that a capital raising would only dilute existing shareholders to near zero, and that the best course is for the directors to take their time and realise the full value of the assets, rather than rush into a capital raising at the insistance of UBS and Macquarie.
The company does have great assets - you might be right about Glenbrook in NZ and they might sell it off. NZ electricty prices are much higher than here, and NZ is the flavour of the month for investors since Aust has gone off the boil with the RSPT.
As always with the sharemarket, patience is required and hopefully we will be rewarded for sticking with the company.
