Never had withdrawal symptoms from caffeine, but my nose used to twitch after about 3 coffees, which I took as a sign not to have any more.
I have had opiate withdrawals symptoms after taking opiate painkillers for an extended period of time for a spinal injury. Not something I would ever want to go through again.
