if you put an idiot behind the wheel - you can have a disaster with anything with wheels that moves

personally, I think that EV's as off-roaders in general have an enormous advantage ------------- full hp at zero revs and the smooth application of power right from zero up

that's brilliant for any conditions ------------- mud and sand come to mind very quickly

nice light power application for mud and instant grunt when in sand, when you need it

So light power application DIDN"T get forward momentum.

Yes, torque rules in off road, but so does weight & traction.
