this may be a silly question - but why does the american dollar increase when the market is tanking? how can investors perceive the US dollar to be a safe haven when things are bad?? Their economy looks crap and in my opinion, i'd be buying gold just in case it gets really bad. But who knows. And if inflation or deflation occurs which is possible imo, wouldn't the US dollar have a lot of downward pressure?? too me it looks like its being falsely propped up, by the FED !
PS - KRUDD IS AN ABSOLUTE INDUSTRY DESTROYER. IT BAFFLES ME THAT HE COULD BE SOO WRONG WHEN THE MARKET IS STILL VOLATILE AND OUR MINING INDUSTRY IS OUR REALLY SOLE MONEY MAKER......
