One thing of note over the week the US government has started seriously considering targeted Gold sanctions to further hamper funding of Russia, Wagner and terrorism. High level meetings have been held the last couple of days with the larger gold companies and world gold council. Several South American countries were named as specific targets but of note West Africa as a region formed a portion of this discussions. Although I highly doubt this will have any impact on Cote Divoir watching the miners in Mali and Burkina Faso might be prudent if this conventions implemented dont read well. In the end all miners will find ways but its something to watch in the up coming quarter.
