The scary issue with the vote succeeding is its the thin edge of the wedge to more hand outs to the indigenous population who make up less than 2% of Australias population.

To have a person sitting in on cabinet meetings with only 1/16 aboriginal blood pushing for that small population.

They should be in parliament in the normal way. Elected.

Your right. Thats less than 2% and a good number of them are white pretenders.
Why dosent the Govt introduce an Aboriginal Tax. Not a large amount, like medicare their Aboriginal brothers. Only payable by those that ticked the Aboriginal Box at the last census.
I'll bet any one here that the numbers of Aboriginals will drop dramatically next census.
