perhaps another indicator is when the US Fed can no longer sell its bonds and has to monetorise debt to avoid deflation.

Anyway gold has plenty of legs left in it. Market participants remain below 5% - wait till it hits 10-20% that's when the taxi driver starts talking about gold,

Then I guess when the taxi driver start asking for payment in gold is the ultimate concern.
