Of course it is a casino. Kohler has been very negative recently in his weekend emails to Eureka subscribers, and thinks it could all go belly up. He is particularly concerned about what is happening in Europe and the possibility of global contagion. He is also concerned about the slowdown in China and a possible double dip recession in US. If the above happens we know where our market will be.

I hope our banks are OK with all that $500 billion plus borrowed from overseas and now guaranteed by us taxpayers. I wonder what the government will do with all the millions of new workers that it has imported from overseas, especially now that we do not have a manufacturing industry to employ them (just turn them all into public servants I suppose).

I agree with Kohler. We have been gambling that governments across the world will continue with zero interest rates on govt debt and their stimulus programs, otherwise we should expect 20-30% unemployment.

The future could be worse than Spain with its current 20% unemployment rate (it is probably higher but the true numbers are always hidden and the govt programs prop things up).

Cheer up, it will all end one day.

    loki
