I noticed that too the last time I was observing an over weekend open position and it was after a certain time, can't remember the exact time, the FXCM market was opened. That is why I don't hold over weekend position anymore.
Did you see what time the official market opened?

For those trading the gaps, what do you mean exactly? I can't see any gaps on my charts whether 1M or 5M.
