    Exceptional value if the Starlink sales team can land bulk sales from regional carriers like HGC, Spark and PT&T and from large satellite service companies, especially those servicing the shipping fleets - and especially the Greek shipping fleets. Greek registrations in total tonnage is larger than China's.
    Given that Starlilnk marine can be accessed anywhere in international waters it would be intriguing to find out whether China registered ships can carry Starlink transponders for the times when they are not in Chinese territorial waters.

    As noted in another post the comms issue is social welfare rather than organizational needs like navigation. One term of most or possibly all crew service agreements is that they have access to the internet, but this is apparently rarely honoured.

    The data charge per head may be too high for very tight shipping operators, but the high capacity of the Starklink receiver can be shared across say 15-20 devices by WiFi. At Norfolk Island Netlinkz has shown this is technically very doable.

    More generally let's hope a fair proportion of sales are direct sales so that not too much of the margin is given away though agency agreements. Its a balancing act: agents bring volume quickly; sales to an individual organization can be hard slog by the time they do a trial and then um and ah.
