Sadly, it looks like an interesting attempt at a desperate sell by the company. Perhaps management have realised the PH Gov has many hesitations about building an underground mine in a highly sensitive indigenous area of the Phillipines.
Hume stressed in the interview a level of caution on how the deal is "non binding". Then started telling shareholders that SP should reflect 4.5c. umm ok.
We kept hearing about having a western copper supply chain only to sell to a company with chineese links which I'm sure the PH government thinks is fantastic... So much for all that local community engagement by CLA.
Interesting they are trying to sell the project before "anticipated" approvals are completed too.
Will be watching in curiosity as to what happens with this "announced acquistion".
