It has always been my opinion that the beginning of learning/school a child is to be taught the tools for the future IE the language, mathematics, ETc
The second phase is to teach the child how to use these tools to learn by themselves
After that comes specific tutoring and this is the period when good or bad brainwashing occurs
This is the area where teachers should supply lots of information but NIL opinions
The child should be free to select the information they require
