Absolutely mind boggling. Markets keep going up on debt ceiling optimism, when they never went down on no deal crisis.
Could be a good time to top up, but very hard to fight the bullish sentiment.
I've been in and out of BBUS, SNAS & BBOZ over the past 2 years.
The costs involved with holding long term make it hard to appreciate market falls.
I have not timed it perfectly so would need a crash to break even.
So my advice would be to use these funds short term.
If you get it wrong take the loss.
It's morally wrong that the US just keeps raising the debt ceiling, without even trying to bring debt down.
The way they just keep printing their way out of any sign of trouble, must come back to bite them one day!
