So to answer your questions, it is not uncommon to drill in Quebec in Winter. The Canadians have adapted to Winter the way fifo workers have adapted to the extreme heat and dust of the Pilbara:

Refer to this from patriot batteries:

    https://mining.com.au/patriot-battery-metals-mobilises-for-winter-phase-of-2023-lithium-focused-drill-campaign-at-corvette-property/

The location is in the Abitibi and Upper Laurentian (also referred to by some as the laurentides) regions of Québec which although mountainous does have large tracts of flat access-able land for drilling.

MTM are a few kilometres away and have road acces, electricity and a ready workforce. They also have the support of the traditional land owners, one of whom from what I hear is part of the drilling team.

Refer to geomega and scroll down to pictures: to see what I am referring to.

I have also included in earlier posts, estimated cost of drilling in Canada.

Now I would love to see your research on why this acquisition is so bad.

    Regards

    DD
