Seems to be an influx of a DRP lobby group.
DRP lobby group members. Put this on record. There will be no DRP. Check the capital management framework. It isn’t in there as a possible option.
Why isn’t it a good option.
1. PLS does not need any more funding via issuing more shares. PLS is a cash cow with a lazy $2.7B in the bank and more heading there this quarter.
2. It dilutes shareholders who don’t participate.
So, for the sake of paying no commission (really), the DRP lobby group want a DRP. There is no obvious benefit for shareholders or the company. Please tell why a DRP is a good option?
Barring any unknown miracle benefit, let’s bury the ridiculous DRP lobbying. It won’t happen.
