I agree with you, i do not know the specific context of the NUH contract ( as i am sure you do not either unless you work for them or have an inside informer) however, what I can say is that there is no way a buyer will commit to 1 million dolars worth of stock unless it has consignment with it or they have massive demand for it prior to its public release.
As I said to you before that you did not answer, i can see that deal transpiring IF the USA sole distributor was willing to take a punt, but that USA distributor is not one of the main streams, and it would be very hard to see how a company would take that risk, without return clauses being in place. I could be wrong, i may well be wrong, but if I was a betting man, I would certainly be looking at it as an odds on favorite that SOR is the case.
My answer in relation to the QUH is simply this - Sony, Jabra now have it, numerous others are about to have it, Sony and Jabra OTC self fit are also available in store as we speak alongside Nuheara.
As for the stock, Best Buy have always had a hearing aid section, you have to remember, and you seem to not take this into consideration, is that the only diferentiator between QUH and any other device is that you can legally call it a "otc hearing aid" on the packaging, and it is a medical approved device by the FDA. Best Buy have always had a hearing aid section, OTC approved devices add to that section, they are not " the be all and end all " of that section.
