Which is why the "hearts and minds" campaign of WAF is so important. Schools, roads and infrastructure, bicycles for the kids, hiring majority locals, paying $Millions in taxes promptly. BF knows that if they grabbed the mine, it would be unlikely they could generate the same wealth.
But with the eviction of the French, there's been a loss of confidence in keeping the govt honest since there's no will to threaten punitive punishment such as economic sanctions if the BF govt goes rogue on foreign companies and I think this is a big part of the SP tanking.
