The lady whose husband was on the trial is back at work and spoke to her this morning, this is the information she provided. This is their account of things. I asked for more information, but this is what I got back not going to ask her anymore.

• She gave me the pamphlet and its definitely the Paradigm trial, Paradigm logo's all over it.
• He had one injection and that night was violently vomiting. He doesn't know if it was the drug or the pie at the shop near the clinic he had for lunch.
• He was taken off the trial after it was reviewed by Melbourne Head Office. He received the call while he was at work but he was busy and said send me all the details in an email. No email came and he hasn't followed up. He doesn't know if it was due to the vomiting that he was taken off or another reason. He didn't have another injection so no way knowing if it was the injection or food poisoning. He believes its the bad pie that's his opinion.
• The clinic and the trial was all a bit unprofessional. (that's not great to hear)
• His knees felt allot better after just one injection. His wife said to me after the injection he hasn't complained about his knees like he used to which was all the time now she doesn't hear about it . They believe they got the real thing due to pain reduction and its been over a month now since he was injected, more intense pain is only now starting to come back.
• He is still looking at the option to get his knees replaced since he can't get the drug. I told her about the SAS scheme she said they would have a look.
