Collingwood suffered heartache in '65 when they lost the GF by one point which started off a series of soul destroying events including losing the unlosable GF in 1970 to Carlton after being 44 points up at half time. What followed was disappointment after disappointment in losing GF's, 77, 79, 80, 81. Their supporters were a mess, mentally unstable, unable to function in society, they turned to any outlet they could find, tatoos which weren't popular back then, they took drugs, they didn't look after their teeth, they comprised 85% of those on the dole in Victoria, their kids skipped school which is only too evident if you look at todays Collingwood supporters, most newborns were conceived in a bus shelter. They should not have been allowed to breed.
Carlton is the new Collingwood 'cept we're not good enough to make it to GF's then lose ... is that good or bad? More than two decades of shite, bring back the brown paper bags full of cash!
