Hi Rob, I thought I was pretty clear in the fact that they will look to potentially acquire another asset.
in that event they are likely to require more than $3b. It’s highly unlikely they would fully deplete cash holdings. So $3b is not available. Let’s say $2.5b is.
PLS are a sitting duck IMO just like AKE was (potentially still is). Either PLS take something over and expand, ideally down stream or get taken over.
so if they expand and look to M&A to do so, what is a suitable asset and how much?
can’t see them getting CXO under $2.5b and LtR knocked back $5.5b from alb. So they would need a capital raise and debt of some description.
