Bot sale party on for PLS today and yesterday. If you borrowed PLS shares for shorting last week and sold them when the SP was $4.99, you could have bought back today for $4.75 and picked up 24 cents per share for your 3 day effort, well worthwhile if you are in with deep pockets. Massive number of small value transactions suggest shorters are trying to influence the share price. PLS is strong enough to weather these nuisances and will recover quickly, but shorters will start the cycle again. Shorting lender picks up lending fee (say 1.6%) then the share price quickly resumes previous highs. Win, win for shorting provider. The real risk here is the 56% private ownership of PLS shares. Small holders with a stop loss in place can lose their shares automatically if their stop-loss is breached.
