I am aware of the steps involved, but ultimately if Rudd has the mandate of the Australian people, and therefore the relevant numbers in parliament, then it doesn't matter what a few grubby miners think ( no matter how rich and powerful they think they are), it becomes law and they have to abide by it....very simple.
